SoundMAGIC E30

9 01 2012

Introduction

Once again I would like to show my gratitude to Michael Lin from SoundMAGIC whom without this review would be impossible. Also thanks to Liyan for the great costumer service.
As you may already know, Soundmagic is no unknown brand to audiophiles who are on a budget. This company success goes way back, beginning with the success of the bang for the buck headphone, the PL30.
The E30 was released in this year’s spring, along with other products, including the E10, the Eh11 and the P30. The E30 is the natural evolution of the known P30. As I said in my former reviews, my primary musical choices are electronic music, dance, drum and bass and some dubstep. Due to former reviews about these, my expectations were quite high with these.

Meelectronics CC51

9 01 2012

Introduction  First of all I would like to thank to Mike at Meelectronics for sending out this sample of the Meelctronics CC51 for me to review. He was very kind and was always willing to help throughout the process. I had big hopes for these IEM. My primary musical choices are electronic music, dance, drum and bass and some dubstep, so these phones must feel “at home” so to speak. But I will also listen to some other genres to see how well these phones perform.

SoundMAGIC EH11

9 01 2012

Introduction – I would like to begin this review by saying thanks to Michael from Soundmagic for making this review possible.

As you may already know, Soundmagic is no unknown brand to audiophiles who are on a budget.  This company success goes way back, beginning with the success of the bang for the buck headphone, the PL30.

The EH11 was released in this year’s spring, along with other products, including the E10, the E30 and the P30. The EH11 is the in-ear version of the older product of Soundmagic, the EH10.  As I said in my former reviews, my primary musical choices are electronic music, dance, drum and bass and some dubstep. But as these IEM are meant to be used “on the move”, I will also hear my running soundtracks.

HiFiMAN 242

9 01 2012

Introduction  Hello and on first hand I would like to thanks Ms. T from HiFiMAN for sending the sample that made this review possible. Also a big plus is the quality of their customer service always willing to help, and very friendly throughout the process.

Being these a pre-production sample, my review may not reflect the quality of the final product.

At first, I didn’t know what to expect from these as the review floating around the internet had very ambiguous results. But coming from HiFiMAN I knew I could expect at least some good quality IEM’s. My primary musical choices are electronic music, dance, drum and bass and some dubstep. But I will also listen to some other genres to see how well these phones perform. Read the rest of this entry »
